Finnley's Blessing

Our sweet little nephew Finnley was blessed last Sunday at my home ward in Burlington, so we made the long drive there for one day so that we could meet the newest addition to the Richeson clan. He did not disappoint! Finnley is so tiny and cute and perfect! He hardly makes a sound and has the most precious hair. The blessing by Mike was beautiful and we got to hear the sweet testimonies of my sisters-in-law. After church we went back to Mike & Susan's for a little celebratory luncheon and let the kids all hang out together. It was fun, but way too short!

This picture is especially special because I cannot put into words how much Grace loves "Baby Finnley." She wanted to be by him the whole time we where there, she sat in his chair, held his hand, gave him "pets", and kissed his head countless times. All the adults were downstairs playing games and I realized we hadn't seen Grace for awhile. So I went upstairs and found Grace sleeping in Deakan's bed. She had climbed into Finnley's crib, grabbed his blessing booties, and then laid down in the spare bedroom with her beloved Mr. Squiggles and Baby Finnley's booties on her chest. It was one of the cutest things I have ever seen!
