Hailey's Dance Party

Hailey turned 8 this week and we had to quickly plan a birthday party. I tried hard to get her to choose a party that would not take place at our house, but she was determined to have a party where she could sing and dance. So, we turned our basement into a club. We put lights up around the ceiling, put colored tissues over the lights, hung streamers everywhere, put balloons all over the floor, and moved all the furniture to make a dance floor. We rented a Wii Dance Party Game, pulled out dress-up clothes, and put on neon bracelets and necklaces. Hailey and her 9 friends had fun singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, and even making a video. They had a blast and now I get to rest until we do her baptism in a few weeks.
