Last night we were just finishing up our "Christmas FHE" when we heard a firetruck outside. It stopped next to our elderly neighbors house, so Scott rushed out to make sure the owners were OK. The firemen laughed and said they were waiting for Santa and to get the kids. We hurried and put some coats and boots on the girls, then rushed outside into the snow. Soon, along came another firetruck pulling a little trailer with Santa inside. They were going through local neighborhoods letting the kids sit on Santa's lap and take pictures. It was the perfect ending to a nice evening with the kids. I told Scott Heavenly Father was rewarding us for actually doing FHE!

Sometimes it's hard to stay humble when you have a daughter who looks like this...
Grace loves to copy her sisters and on this occasion, Hailey was wearing glasses dancing around to "You think you're cooler than me." Grace looked so cute, we had to take a picture!

Grace will sometimes play so hard she falls asleep before we can put her down for a nap. This was one of those times a couple weeks ago when she wasn't feeling very well.
yes, i think it WOULD be hard to be humble if i had donated half of the DNA in that cutie pie!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are too darling for words, Shauna! Looks like Gracie doesn't think much of Santa, even from the saftey of Kylie and Scott's aarms! Hopefully he'll seem "safer" to her when he brings he presents!
ReplyDeleteThe little purple dress is adorable!
